Menstrual Cramps & Adrenal Fatigue Revealed: Part 2

Last month, for the first time in a long time, I had relief from my menstrual cramps.

What did I do differently?!

I took an amazing homeopathic remedy! Each person's "constitutional remedy" is different, depending on their life challenges and the experience of their symptoms. My menstrual cramps are much different from most people I know. A remedy that works for me might not work for someone else. That is why it is important to see a Classical Homeopath to find your constitutional remedy.

I can't even begin to express my excitement. Finally, something that is working for my chronic menstrual cramps.

Over the weekend I also attended a training seminar. The topic was Sclerology - the study of the white part of the eye. Sclerology looks at different markings to determine the level of health of the body. At the end of the seminar we had our eyes analyzed. What came up for me?

Parasitic flukes . . . in my uterus!

This made A LOT of sense to me. Parasitic flukes in the uterus will cause endometriosis like symptoms.

Endometriosis is hard to "diagnose" because it looks a lot like PMS. Here are some associated symptoms:
  • Pain before and during periods
  • Pain with intercourse
  • General, chronic pelvic pain throughout the month
  • Low back pain
  • Heavy and/or irregular periods
  • Painful bowel movements, especially during menstruation
  • Painful urination during menstruation
  • Fatigue
  • Infertility
  • Diarrhoea or constipation
  • Headaches
  • Low grade fevers
  • Depression
  • Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
  • Anxiety
  • Susceptibility to infections, allergies
Although I have never been diagnosed with Endometriosis (and indeed, I do not believe in the "diagnosis", anyway), I experience most of these symptoms during menses.

My Healing Plan

I am going to start a parasite cleanse right away. Since I have never done a parasite cleanse, I can only imagine how many parasites I have in my body. Being in the Naturopathy field, I have seen some pretty nasty parasites come out of people. I have heard stories about "bundles of worms" coming out through the bowels. I know, I know... this is really gross... but must be faced! I have included a picture for your viewing pleasure (hehe).

Flukes
If you experience a low grade infection, poor health, fatigue, headaches, nausea, constipation/diarrhea, or other similar common symptoms, then you probably have parasites too (especially if you have never done a parasite cleanse).

Each person needs an individualized parasite cleansing plan, depending on which parasites they carry. And, even if you are in a good state of health, you should still do an annual parasite cleanse.

Some good supplements to consider for parasite cleansing: Garlic, Black Walnut, Pumpkin Seed, and Cloves.

  1. Where would you turn to get an individualized treatment plan for parasite removal... I agree that it sounds like a great plan, I would just have no way of knowing which plan is right for me.

  2. Hi Steve,

Of course, it is best to seek a qualified Naturopath to help you with an individualized plan. If you are just planning on doing an annual cleanse, then you can purchase one of Hulda Clark's books (The Cure For All Cancers is one of them). Hulda Clark has done a lot of research specifically with parasites and has some good suggestions. She suggests a parasite cleanse of: Black Walnut Hulls, Wormwood (although you need to be careful with this specific herb's safety profile), and common cloves. These could all be taken in tincture form. Again, it is best to have the aid of a qualified Naturopath during any cleanse!

  3. Dear Svea, it's quite useful article (and the ones before on the cramps). The symptoms you had remind me of mine. I also tried different natural methods, acupuncture ... well many things, but only painkillers help me at the moment. I went to different doctors in different countries and all of them said "pain is normal". Your articles give me some inspiration to continue the search of the answer how can I fix my pain. Maybe I should also check for parasites... I never did it!

Well, anyway, I wonder what's your update on the case? Were you able to treat it at the end? Did the cleanse help? and how does it feel these days? Victoria.

    1. Hi Victoria,

I was totally in the same boat as you. I had also tried acupuncture and other natural therapies. Nothing had worked until I wrote this article. My husband is a classical homeopath and has been working with me on my constitutional remedy. I am also a classical homeopath (but per instruction by my teachers, I do not treat myself - since I have 'blind' spots that I don't see..hehe). So at the time of this article, I changed remedies and experienced very little pain. The next month was the same as well as the months to follow. I had a bit of a blip in there with more pain for 1-2 months, but it was even different then. At first I couldn't handle the pain. I used to lay in a curled up ball - not wanting to speak to anyone or do anything. The pain began to change.. where I could be with people and do things and maintain my 'sanity' with the pain.

This past month was even better! The pain was so much less and spread out over 2 days, instead of severe pain for 1 day. The pain was very little - I was quite shocked. So, the healing still continues.

Since I started this process in May, my pain is significantly less. I can function in public and I am nice to my husband during those first days of my cycle:-). Healing takes time and I can feel my body continue to heal. I swear by classical homeopathy for menstrual cramps. It's the only thing that has lasting effects. Have you had your case taken? You really should consider seeing a homeopath. If you need help finding a qualified homeopath, I can help you. Homeopathy also works to kill parasites - one remedy can do all of these things for us. It's quite amazing.

      Blessings,
      Svea

  4. Dear Svea, hello!
thank you for your reply, i just saw it. In fact I didn't take any serious steps towards the healing yet, but it's caused rather by the country where i live now (France), where most of doctors dont speak English, and I dont feel confident talking to them with my French. Also searching is kind of problem for me, too. I'm not sure if you could help me to find anyone here (in Paris)?

Anyway, I'm trying some natural things now (molasses, it helped someone i know), but still have to take painkillers.
    thanks again for your reply.

    Regards,
    Victoria

    1. Hi Victoria,

I don't know any English speakers in Paris. I will ask around for you. I also do distance consults (via phone or skype) if you are interested. Molasses is good as an iron support during and after your menstrual cycle. It will help to build your iron (since we lose so much during our cycle). You can also try cherry juice, which is also high in iron.

I have found that homeopathy is the #1 treatment for menstrual cramps. I have now had a few months without any pain. I'm still in shock and a little bit of disbelief. But, it's very encouraging for me and the people that I help as well.

      Be Well,
      Svea
